Do you feel peaceful? (Be honest.) Some solid help... The Prince of Peace (Pete)—societal peace. Christ's kingdom has come. His kingdom will last. His coming peace is the only thing that will piece (peace) us together. The Fruit of Peace (Steve)—heart peace. There is the promise of peace, but we feel sinful, powerless, phony and scared. So where's the peace? The Counterfeit of Peace (Pete)—spiritual peace. Jesus' kingdom is divisive and aggressive. Jesus came to bring societal peace in the future and internal peace right now, but not interpersonal peace. The Implications of Peace (Steve)—kingdom peace. We have peace and it's a Christmas gift from Jesus. God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself. But so what? What does that mean exactly? Christians and the kingdom of Christ.
